john flanders - bio
John has 30 years of acting experience and has been an active member of the
“Three A's” - AEA, SAG and AFTRA – for over 20 years. He earned a BA
Degree in Drama from the University of California, San Diego, with minors in
Communications and Visual Arts. He has performed for stage, television, film and
radio; and has directed for theater, television and film. John has also taught
theater and photography for private schools in southern California.
John wrote, directed and starred in the 28 minute short, The Ride, which
toured the world in film festivals. The film won the Audience Award in Moscow
and Best of Festival in Chicago. John's roles as an actor have been seen in
regional theaters, on U.S. and European television and in movie theaters.
From 1992 to 2003 John earned his living as an actor for film and television in
Los Angeles and appeared regularly as a contract player on NBC's Days of Our
Lives. While a volunteer in the S.A.G. casting office at the American Film
Institute, John starred in nearly a dozen AFI short films.
In 2003 John moved his family moved to Brussels where he now coaches and continues to work as an actor. Some of his recent roles include :

John has appeared in over 125 industrial films, commercials and voice-overs.
John has studied with numerous teachers and coaches, including Alan Schneider, Eric Christmas, Tom Humphrey, Anne Brebner, Lee Sankowich, Mark Monroe, Kate McGregor Stewart and Richard Seyd.
